So, how do a custom poem work? We’ve worked hard to make the process as seamless as possible. To order a personalized poem: 

1. Click on the red “order now” or “customize a poem” button via the homepage

2. Choose a template design from the drop down menu

3. Click on the “create your poem” button and fill out the questionnaire completely

4. Upload an image at the end of the questionnaire. If you don't want to include an image, upload any placeholder. 

4. Check out and pay for your order

Within 48 hours, you will receive a custom poem proof based on the answers you provided in the questionnaire. You’re entitled to a maximum of two revisions if you aren’t pleased with the first draft. 

Once you approve the custom poem, within 24 hours, you’ll receive a final draft of the poem inside of your chosen template. If all is well and you give us the go ahead, we will make your canvas, and have it sent to you within 5-10 business days.

You can order a custom poem for just about any occasion. This includes a birthday, anniversary, birth of a baby, funeral, and anything else you can think of. To choose the kind of poem you want,  select it from the drop down menu found in the questionnaire via the order page.  If you can't find the occasion you want select other and let us know what the occasion is at the end of the questionnaire. 

We also have ready-made inspirational canvas poems which are perfect for your office space, home, or to gift a friend. These cannot be customized so, what you see is what you''ll get. It takes 5-10 business days from the time you place your order for ready-made canvases to be delivered. 

We work hard to ensure you're happy with your custom poem and it's something your loved one will cherish. However, we understand there may be things you don't like or want changed. For this reason, you’re entitled to two drafts of a custom poem. If you aren’t satisfied with the first proof you’re sent, you’ll have the option to have your poem or edited rewritten. If you don't like the design, you can also request changes but you cannot change the template.  

There are three types of personalization you can get:

Custom Poem: Based on the information you provide in the questionnaire, we create a heartfelt custom poem for your loved one. You're entitled to two drafts, just in case you don't like the first one sent. You’ll also receive a FREE courtesy phone call/consultation to ensure the poem is tailored to your needs. Fill out the questionnaire the best you can, so the poem is as intimate and personalized as possible.

Custom Templates: You can choose a design template to place your personalized poem in. At the bottom left hand corner of the order page, you'll find a variety of templates. Select the one you want in the drop down menu and we'll place your custom poem inside. 

Personal Image: To give your canvas a more personal touch, we can include an image in your final design. The option to upload an image is at the bottom of the questionnaire form. The image will appear above the poem most times. If you don't want to include a poem in your design, upload a placeholder and make a note in the further comments box at the end of the questionnaire.

Once you’ve paid for your order, you should receive a first draft of your custom poem within 48-72 hours. The poem will be inspired by the answers from your questionnaire. If you haven't received your custom poem within the mentioned timeframe, check your spam or junk mail. If still nothing, contact elizabeth@loveonacanvas.shop

Delivery takes between 5-10 business days counting from the day you approve the final custom poem. If you haven't seen it within this timeframe, check your spam or junk. The sooner you approve, the quicker we can get your canvas poem to you. The whole process shouldn’t take longer than 10 business days from order to delivery. 

Refunds cannot be issued on the sole basis of you not liking the product. However, because our customers mean the world to us, you will be offered a new printed custom poem if it comes to you damaged or your item isn’t received.
